HINTS: Straight up means you don't chill it. Strained means you shake it with ice and strain the ice out. Rocks means you leave the ice in. If you really needed me to remind you of any of this, you really need to get out more. I'm serious. And no, the type of glass really does not matter. If possible, have the bartender pour the drink right into your mouth, saves time and glass-washing.
Drink making is not rocket science. Changing the ingredients isn't going to cause the drink to explode or create a time warp. You like it with extra Kahlua? Go for it. You want a Mudslide on the rocks instead of up? You da MAN (or, woman, as the case may be). Drinking is an art form, and every artist should be granted some amount of creative license. I don't make any claim as having tried these drinks, nor do I make any assurances that they don't taste like gasoline strained through Mike Tyson's underwear. Besides, taste is all a matter of... well... taste. Apparently SOMEONE liked them, or they wouldn't have names.
Also, unless otherwise noted, these drinks will benefit greatly from being shaken before consumed, unless a large part of the drink consists of carbonation (anything with bubbles in it), which will only create a huge mess if you try to shake it. When juice is required, fresh is always preferable, but not imperative. And, as with all things, if you don't like the drink, try adding more alcohol.

VODKA INFUSION: Makes a batch. Take ten navel oranges and ten ruby red grapefruit, whole. Peel and separate into slices. Place fruit into a large Coleman water cooler, or any liquid dispenser that has a spigot. Get four liters of vodka - I use Kamchatka, if you use high-end shit you're wasting money. Pour the vodka into the container with the fruit. Cap and let sit for three to four weeks. The fruit will NOT rot. You may serve it on the rocks, or mix with fruit juice. Tastes like ambrosia.
